TRUST
Trust is the foundation of Leadership! If your followers lose trust, you've lost your ability to lead. Trust comes from growing and knowing. Think about throwing your 2 year old up in the air and catching him for the first time. Or have him jump off the side of the pool into your arms for the first time, Or standing in the batters box and trusting that the pitcher is not throwing at you but trying to throw it past you at 96 MPH.

Or driving through an intersection and trusting that the others obey their red light and don't T-Bone you. TRUST! No matter what business you are in, you are in the people business. No matter what you do, you will do it with people and people are relational. If you can't trust your people or they can't trust you then, "HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" (I know, now I'm showing my age.) Trust needs to be earned in every relationship that you have.
