This quote from Elon could cause me to write a bunch of things, starting with priorities or how obsessed we can be with our crazy phones, but for right now I'm sticking to the PLAN.
Finding out how to make money is finding out how to find, make and keep customers. Sounds simple enough? Until you have to have your PLAN to find, make and keep customers. Before you can find, make and keep a customer though, you have to have a PLAN or a vision that adds value to your potential customer.
Whenever I coached a player in the NFL I was always thinking how this will add value to their game, longevity to their career, which in turn added value to our team. Service should be seen as growing your customer base, or how can you be best serving your customers without exploiting your customers. We grow as people through service, you do the same in business, you grow when you serve. Unselfishness, be a giver, be a server. It's a lot easier to find another cell phone charger than another loyal customer!
